The account owner experience, start to finish
This is the first of four narrated tours of FlockConnect, and the longest, because the account owner is the one seat that sees everything. It was recorded on a practice church with made-up people, on the Starter plan, and narrated by the founder, so what you see is exactly what a new church sees on day one. If you are deciding whether FlockConnect fits your church, start here; the admin, care partner, and phone tours pick up where this one leaves off.

What the tour covers
It follows a week from the owner's seat. Home is the recap: anything overdue at the top, the reports the care team has sent right below. People is everyone in the church, with the filters that answer the questions a pastor actually asks, such as who we have not contacted lately. One person's record shows contact details, who is caring for them, their timeline, and every note the owner is allowed to see, each with a plain statement of who else can see it. A note another leader kept to Only me is not there, even for the owner.
Then the habit the rest of the product rests on: logging a visit in two sentences, scheduling the follow-up in the same breath, and choosing who can see the note before it is saved. From there the tour moves through the coverage board, assigning a leader to people and then to a whole group, the care reports desk, follow-ups, groups and Sunday attendance, forms, insights, and finally Settings, where the owner brings a leader on and the app pauses to ask for a text code.

Who this is for
The account owner is whoever signed up and set the church up: usually the lead pastor or the person they trust to run the office. Everything the tour shows is available to that seat on the Starter plan. The closing lines look ahead to two features that are not in the tour and not part of Starter: Collie, an advisory assistant that drafts a note or a next step for a pastor to approve and never acts on its own, and relationship tracking. Both are still being built, and they will begin with the Small plan, not Starter. What Starter builds today is the care history they will draw on. Billing stays with the owner on every plan. Connections to other systems like Planning Center and inviting the team also start with the owner, who can hand either one to an admin.
If you will be an admin or a care partner rather than the owner, the shorter tours for those seats show the same church from where you will sit.
What to watch for
Three moments carry most of the weight. The who-can-see-this choice on every note, where a note kept to Only me is unreadable to anyone else, including the owner. The coverage board, which asks one question of the whole church: can every person name someone who checks on them? And the text code on inviting a leader, which is the only time daily work stops to double-check that it is really you.
The practice church has a Demo badge and a sample-data banner on screen throughout. Your church will not.
Where to go next
The written guides linked below go deeper on the steps that deserve it, and the getting-started guide for the owner walks the first week in order. When you are ready to try it with your own people, the trial is two weeks with no card.
