Logging care from your phone, in the parking lot
Most care happens away from a desk, so this last tour is one minute on a phone. FlockConnect is built for a desktop and for the phone in your pocket, and the one habit that matters most, writing down a meaningful conversation while it is fresh, takes a few taps from the bottom bar. The recording is of the real phone layout on the same practice church.

What the tour covers
Signing in is your email and password. Home is the same page you see on a desktop. The big Log button sits in the middle of the bottom bar on every screen. Tap it, pick who the note is about, say what happened, tap what kind of moment it was, and log it. The note starts private to you, just as it does everywhere else.
- 0:03 Signing in
- 0:13 Home and the Log button in the bottom bar
- 0:24 Pick who the note is about
- 0:28 Say what happened, tap what kind of moment it was
- 0:32 Log it
Who this is for
Everyone who will log care: the owner, admins, and care partners alike. It is worth showing a volunteer before their first Sunday, because the whole habit is on this screen.
What to watch for
That the person comes first. Until you choose who the note is about, there is no note box to fill, so a note can never be written into the void or attached to the wrong person by accident.
Where to go next
The quick log guide covers the form in full, including follow-ups and dictation where it is enabled, and the care visibility guide explains the sharing choices.
